The Formatic Weapon detector consists of a metal detecting arch with the capacity to distinguish the size,shape and type of metal. It is a genuine weapon detector whose primary operation is based on pulsating magnetic fields that provides it with an elevated discriminatory capacity to detect objects. This high level of discrimination guarantees efficient operation such as Keys can be allowed to pass through (if allowed) as can a number of other objects such as umbrellas, walking sticks, contents of hand bags and a range of metal objects not considered as weapon
At the same time, thanks to a three dimensional analysis of a detected object, the arch is sensitive enough to detect an kind of gun, including those of a similar size basing its detection on the shape of the objects be it real or imitation.
